under pressure immersive experience team

under pressure

Right at the start of the challenge we had the obstacle of choosing one of the themes from a big pile. This was hard because there were multiple of themes we liked. Our only requirements were that we wanted to do something fun and inspiring instead of something huge, heavy and in the end depressing.

Right at the start of the challenge we had the obstacle of choosing one of the themes from a big pile. This was hard because there were multiple of themes we liked. Our only requirements were that we wanted to do something fun and inspiring instead of something huge, heavy and in the end depressing.

We ended up choosing the theme of time pressure and stress, firstly because it is an interesting story, but also because during the minor we often had this feeling ourselves. After we had the theme, we held a few brainstorm sessions in which we created a mind map and a few doodles.

We wanted to make it interactive, and we called it: ready, set, go! Everyone experiences stress, time pressure in any shape or form at at one point in their life, but everyone’s experience is also different from each other. So, we thought it would be important to keep in mind to make it immersive for everyone.

Everyone that we know of has played a game at some point in their life. Some of these games are quite stressful too. And to make it fun for ourselves we decided to create games!

One of the games: put 6 shapes inside of the correct hole within 2 minutes.

During the creation we did a lot of testing. We think that’s why it ended up being so immersive as it is. Almost everyone who played our games was excited, stressed and engaged. From this we got a lot of positive feedback during the testing and later also in the show moment of the challenge. Through popular vote we even ended up winning the challenge!!!

Right from the start we were all team players, aiming for the same goals together, especially towards our main goal, which was to have as much fun as possible. During the whole process we were continuously motivating each other and connected on such a high level. This motivation and connection within our team was the reason we achieved our result.

One of the games: complete a reoccurring series of 14 light combinations.
